The Mercadona interproveedora rise increases made ​​in 2013, while 8 M invests in improving facilities

This year, Piqueras Loriente Meat Industries (Incarlopsa) plans to increase the commercial progress made at the end of last year, while ending investments totaling € 8 million in its various production facilities, 32% more than in 2013. This sense, Mercadona has disbursed interproveedora 3.16 M in various improvements in its meat processing factory, located in Tarancón (Cuenca), with built area of ​​nearly 15,000 m2 and a production capacity of 36,000 tonnes of sausages and other 3,000 t processed; more than 1.7 M € in the plant and equipment dedicated to the press and sliced ​​cured ham, division now has 13 production lines, reaching a capacity of 65 million envelopes a year; and 1.44 M to actions at the slaughterhouse, also located in Tarancon, on a plot of 53,000 m2, sacrifice 3,200 pigs / shift and 3500 channels storage. 

 
Investor Incarlopsa completed budget year 2014 with the release of 1.54 M in its manufacturing of products from the Iberian pig. The plant, located in Guijuelo (Salamanca), was acquired by Canpipork group in 2013, after almost two years on lease, dedicated to the latest production of ‘La Hacienda Iberian’ range. With it, Manchego has managed to pull himself up to fifth in the Iberian market, according to the latest ‘Sector Report’ published by Alimarket in October.

After suffering mild slowdown in 2013, the meat business Incarlopsa again stepped up and, at the end of 2014, growth recovered in the division of fresh pork. Thus, it will reach 113 174 t of volume sold, which will mean an increase of 2%, compared with a fall of 0.9% from the previous year, according to the data pointed in its latest ‘Management Report’. 
 
Line also improve meat products results obtained twelve months ago and, in particular, the production of sausages double its progression to 8%, with more than 26,000 t sold on the shelves of the Valencian distribution chain. Meanwhile, the activity of ham will rise by 6% in 2014 and will approach 26,000 ta year end, over 1,500 t in a single course.
